• We never use personal or free email accounts (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail).

• All applications must be submitted through our official job site.

• Ask you to pay fees for applications, training, equipment, or certifications.

• Request sensitive personal or financial information (Social Security number, bank account details, etc.) before an official offer and onboarding.

• Make job offers without a formal interview process.

• Communicate exclusively via text messages, WhatsApp, or social media.

• Send checks or ask you to purchase items on our behalf.

• Unsolicited job offers you didn’t apply for.

• Poor spelling, grammar, or generic greetings (e.g., “Dear Applicant”).

• Unrealistic pay promises for vague roles.

• Interview requests through chat apps only, without video or phone interaction.

If you have concerns that you are not communicating with an Energy Vault team member, please contact us through our official contact form.

We recommend:

1. Stop all communication immediately, report emails as phishing to your email provider, and report the job post to the hosting service.

2. Reporting the incident to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

3. Filing a report with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

4. Notifying any banks, companies,  or institutions where you may have shared sensitive information and pursue identity protection.
