Recently there has been a rise in employment related online scams. Please review the following information before engaging with anyone claiming to represent Energy Vault with employment related activities.

  • All legitimate Energy Vault emails come from an @energyvault.com address.
  • We never use personal or free email accounts (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail).
  • All applications must be submitted through our official job site.
  • Ask you to pay fees for applications, training, equipment, or certifications.
  • Request sensitive personal or financial information (Social Security number, bank account details, etc.) before an official offer and onboarding.
  • Make job offers without a formal interview process.
  • Communicate exclusively via text messages, WhatsApp, or social media.
  • Send checks or ask you to purchase items on our behalf.
  • Unsolicited job offers you didn't apply for.
  • Poor spelling, grammar, or generic greetings (e.g., “Dear Applicant”).
  • Unrealistic pay promises for vague roles.
  • Interview requests through chat apps only, without video or phone interaction.

We recommend:

  • Stop all communication immediately, report emails as phishing to your email provider, and report the job post to the hosting service.
  • Reporting the incident to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
  • Filing a report with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).
  • Notifying any banks, companies, or institutions where you may have shared sensitive information and pursue identity protection.
