About

The Role

As HR Coordinator you will collaborate with our growing team of 4 HR professionals ensuring compliance and efficiency across our people processes. You will respond to internal and external inquiries regarding benefits, employment, leaves of absence (LOAs), and workers’ compensation (WC). You will have an active role in ensuring all HR functions are complying with local, state, and federal regulations. Your regular tasks also include the creation and maintenance of personnel files, reports, recruiting outreach, job descriptions, offer letters, background checks and reference calls, candidate surveys, workplace culture, employee surveys, and other special projects. It is possible you will become involved with an internship program as we scale, establishing relationships with universities and student clubs.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role with exposure to our top executives, and you will be crucial to our People team and Energy Vault.

What

you will do

  • Serve as a point of contact to team members, answer HR-related questions, and direct traffic.
  • Work with HR team and across the organization to support HR programs and processes including hiring, team member/supervisor changes, promotions, transfer letters, terminations, exit interviews, employee records, payroll preparation, and other related functions and reports.
  • Assist with updating employee data on our HRIS and candidate data in our ATS.
  • Maintain employee records & files for all properties.
  • Innovate upon and improve HR processes with efficiency and automation as goals.
  • Under the guidance of our Director of Total Compensation and People Operations:
    • Help with Open Enrollment and Benefits
  • Under the guidance of our Senior Talent Partner:
    • Interview scheduling, offer letters, background checks, and candidate surveys.
    • As needed – candidate outreach and sourcing, reference calls, and internship programming.
  • Distribute and track mandatory trainings & help prepare training presentations.
  • Manage project documents in identified online sites (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).

Qualified

Candidate should possess

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar corporate role
  • Good understanding of HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and benefits.
  • Stellar organizational skills and ability to time manage, prioritize, and work through interruptions.
  • Impressive communication and interpersonal skills with all levels within the organization.
  • Experience in startups and/or fast-paced environments.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Ability to tailor communications based on the informational needs of the intended audience.
  • Ability to manage work-streams across functional groups and to develop detailed work plans.
  • Ability to advise and question, as well as analyze and execute.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
