About

The Role

As Director, Total Compensation and People Operations, you will deliver programs and services that create a best-in-class experience for our employees. You will oversee globally all aspects of design, implementation, communication and administration of the company’s compensation, health and welfare programs, defined contribution benefit plans, and required programs. You also administer Leaves of Absence and policy management, systems administration, and management for HR technologies. You will recommend compensation, benefit and HRIS solutions that meet the business and strategic objectives of the company.

You will report to the Chief People Officer and provide thought partnership and collaboration across the organization and leverage data-driven insights that support the design of innovative, cost effective and market-competitive programs.

What

you will do

  • Manage the effective implementation and communication of and compliance with all People policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Design, implement, and administer global compensation & benefits and People Operations programs that differentiate the company, are market competitive and support desired employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Act as liaison between compensation, benefits and HRIS vendors, brokers and employees for escalated concerns and issues.
  • Partner effectively to drive continuous improvement efforts in areas such as People systems, policies, processes, and programs.
  • Drives HRIS optimization to automate and create efficiency to scale to business growth; manage priorities and escalation of issues with vendors and partners.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the business leaders and build on that relationship to ensure that the highest level of customer service is achieved in support of business strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee data including payroll, tax, garnishments, pay and organization changes, employee files and records, etc.
  • Provide appropriate communication and training within the organization and promotes employee and management understanding of People plans and programs.
  • Stay current on changing state and federal compliance and lead all audits and corrective actions.

Qualified

Candidate should possess

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of overall experience, with 6+ years in compensation and benefits.
  • Ability to create trust and build relationships with key stakeholders and employees.
  • Experience managing a diverse set of vendors, service providers and partners.
  • Experience managing payroll & related tax processing in a multi-state, multi-country, multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit programs and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS administration and optimization.
  • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation.
  • Strong excel skills including formulas, functions, pivot tables and charts.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain total confidentiality in all matters related to employee benefits and compensation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level organizational, project and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high energy work environment.
  • Strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail.
  • A sense of urgency to complete projects on time as well as accurately.
  • A passion for carbon neutrality by 2050.
