About

The Role

We are seeking a Director of Finance or a Senior Manager, Finance to manage day-to-day accounting, budget planning, forecasting, and business analytics. You are a problem solver who is comfortable both with hands on professional responsibilities and with leading people. You are fluent in Excel and adept at optimizing – and sometimes automating – processes. You will start as an individual contributor, adjusting to the nuances of our industry, company, and multi-currency environment. As our startup scales, you will recruit, hire, train, and oversee analysts and accountants.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with VP Finance in monthly GL close and consolidation of US and foreign entities.
  • Create monthly financial statements.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage accounting calendar and ensure timely payment of invoices and expenses.
  • Participate in budget planning.
  • Report on monthly rolling forecast.
  • Maintain cash flow projection and track KPI for investor relations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Assist VP Finance and CFO with financial modeling for business development as well as other ad hoc analyses as needed.
  • Work in cross functional capacity to provide accounting and finance support for Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, Project Management, and Sales departments.
Qualified

Candidate will possess

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 6-10 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting with progressive responsibilities.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency, strong analytical and technical accounting skills, and ability to work independently to solve problems and manage multiple projects.
  • Public accounting experience and CPA are bonus.
  • Oracle NetSuite proficiency is a plus.
