Energy Vault to enter Japan with 850-MW battery pipeline purchase

 US-based Energy Vault Holdings Inc (NYSE:NRGV) has signed a binding agreement to buy an 850-MW pipeline of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Japan in a deal that marks its entrance into the local market.
