Energy Vault Holdings Inc., a key player in grid-scale energy storage, and utility-scale battery storage developer Jupiter Power have moved forward with the deployment of an additional 100 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) region. This follows the completion of a similar-sized BESS—100 MW/200 MWh—at the same site in July 2024.
