Energy Vault is the creator of renewable energy storage products that are transforming the world’s approach to utility-scale energy storage for grid resiliency. As Demand Planner, you are responsible for forecasting activities associated with customers and products. Reporting to our VP Engineering, you manage inventory for the construction schedule of our building towers.
you will do
Ensure your knowledgeability about Energy Vault and our products, such that you can optimize relationships with suppliers.
Own demand planning systems and software; create and maintain customer forecast models
Track costs and other relevant metrics and regularly report to business leaders.
Cut costs effectively in new design architecture via formal Change Order
Accelerate deliveries – or call them off – based on construction needs.
Manage strategic inventory buffers by region.
Collaborate with Energy Vault’s mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, project managers, construction professionals, and others in procurement.
Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and corporate development to optimize the success and reputation of Energy Vault during the critical first few years of revenue generation.
Potentially travel domestically in the USA to suppliers, customer sites, and Energy Vault’s corporate office in Westlake Village, CA.

Candidate will possess
10+ years demand planning experience in the energy, infrastructure, utilities, or related industries with complex, technical products.
Knowledge of historical sales trends of materials in our industry.
Startup experience a plus.
Comfort and proficiency with statistical forecast models and customer action plans.
A passion for our shared vision of carbon neutrality by 2050.
